Strip-N-Stick® Silicone Tape

StripNStick det     Strip-N-Stick® (SNS) silicone tapes provide all of the benefits of our silicone rubber in an easy-to-apply, pressure-sensitive adhesive tape form.

Compressible and flexible, SNS tapes can conform to irregular surfaces. SNS products are often referred to as “instant gasket” — simply unwind material off the roll, strip the release liner and stick into place. Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics offers both high and low temperature silicone adhesive and aggressive, strong anchorage acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side. SNS products can be supplied with closed cell sponge backing (SNS 100S, SNS 200A), fibreglass-reinforced closed cell sponge (SNS 300AR), soft and thin solid silicone (SNS 440S, SNS 440A) or flame retardant foam backing (SNS 512AF).

Features & Benefits

  • Provided in roll form; eliminates the need to die-cut a part
  • Conforms to irregular shapes for cushioning and gasketing multiple height materials
  • Silicone adhesive withstands temperatures ranging from -100F to +500 F (-73 C to + 260 C); sticks to low surface energy  (LSE) surfaces and is repositionable
  • Acrylic adhesive withstands temperatures ranging from -20F to + 350 F (-29C to +177C); adhesive is aggressive, permanent and solvent resistant
  • Low compression set for reliability
  • Weather resistant for indoor and outdoor use
  • UV and ozone resistant for extended service life in outdoor applications
  • Fungus resistant; will not support fungus growth
